On Friday and Saturday, July 6th and 7th, the Piedmont Antique Power Association (PAPA) will present the 13th annual Antique Tractor and Engine Show at the Masonic Picnic Grounds behind Brock Center in historic downtown Mocksville.

Admission is free and there will be something for everyone on both days.  Food, beverages, ice cream, great food, music, contests, events, parade and plenty of farm related events and demonstrations.  The schedule for both days follows.

New for the 2012 event is the “Got To Be NC Shopping Cart” from the NC Department of Agriculture.  15 feet long, 13 feet tall and powered by a Chevrolet V8 racing engine.

Friday Events:  7:00 am – Gates open to the public  -  No entrance fee

All Day – Tractors, Hit & Miss engines and farm equipment on display
Farm equipment demonstrations through-out the day

Afternoon and Evening events:
Kiddie train rides
Kiddie pedal tractor race
Tractor skill events
Wheel barrow race
Ladies frying pan toss
Wagon rides through Rich Park
Cow pattie bingo ($5.00 entry fee)

5:00 to 8:00 pm – Bingo (sponsored by Davie County Senior Services)

6:30 pm – Live Music by “Kickin Kountry Band” and “Broke N Lonesome” under the arbor

Saturday Events:  7:00 am – Gates open to public  -  No entrance fee
All day – Tractors, Hit & Miss engines and farm equipment on display

Morning events:
9:00 am – Tractors begin to line-up for the Parade through downtown Mocksville
10:00 am – Parade begins through Mocksville – The Got To Be NC Shopping Cart will lead the parade
11:00 am – Kiddie pedal pull

Afternoon events:
12:30 pm – Auction of consigned and donated items
Tractor skill events
Cow pattie bingo ($5.00 entry fee)
Wagon rides through Rich Park
Kiddie train rides
2:00 pm – Raffle drawing for tractor or prize money
Raffle drawing: first prize 1949 Allis Chalmers “B” tractor or $2,000; second prize $500; third prize $250
