New Citizen Reporting System Now Available Davie County is pleased to announce a new system to receive citizen service requests.  311GIS.com is an online and mobile system that allows a registered user to report service needs in Davie County, Bermuda Run and Mocksville. Citizens can report missing street signs, animal control concerns, street light outages, non-emergency utility issues, and much more.  There is no cost to register to use the system, but a contact email address is required so that someone making a request can be informed as work is completed on the request. Davie County Library Needs Your Help

We need your help; our Davie County Library is conducting an online survey, the “Impact Survey,” to collect information about public technology resources and services.  Even non-users are encouraged to take the survey; several questions relate to use of technology in general, and perceptions of the role of the public library in providing access to technology and digital resources. Shamrock BBQ Event in Cooleemee ~ Saturday, March 22

On Saturday, March 22, Cooleemee will host a community Bar-B-Que starting at noon on the Zachary House grounds at 131 Church Street in Cooleemee. Join the Fun ~ 26th Annual Shamrock Run This Saturday!

Schools Closed For Students & Staff – Friday, February 14, 2014

Winter Storm ~ A State of Emergency Declared for Davie County

A state of emergency has been declared for Davie County.  Residents are asked to please curtail non-essential travel to keep local roads and highways clear for emergency vehicles. There will be a shelter open at the Brock gym today staring at 4pm today.  The red cross will be operating the shelter.  If there are clients with special needs please bring a care giver with you. If you have questions about a shelter you can contact Jerry Myers with Emergency Management at 753-6163.
