Hurricane Florence Update

“The Town of Mocksville and Davie County Emergency Management continues to monitor the path of Hurricane Florence. Based on information received from the National Weather Service and the National Hurricane Center, Davie County should anticipate: Early Thursday morning: rain and the potential arrival of high winds. Friday through Sunday: sustained periods of heavy rain with the potential of 7-10 inches total accumulation with tropical storm force winds. 2018 Christmas Parade Saturday, December 1st – Registration Now Open!

There are only 90 days left before the Hometown Christmas Parade, and it’s never too early to begin planning your float! This year’s parade through historic downtown Mocksville will be held on Saturday, December 1st, beginning at 2 p.m.  The theme this year is The Gifts of Christmas and the deadline to register is November 9th.
