Oak Valley Golf Club in Advance ~ “The Place Where Legends Are Made” Hosts US Amateur Qualifying Round on Monday and Tuesday, July 26th and 27th!

A legend may be born today in Davie County For the 5th consecutive year Oak Valley Golf Club in Advance is home to the sectional qualifying round for next month’s US Amateur Golf Tournament.  Three players from the qualifying rounds at Oak Valley this week will go on to play in the 2010 US Amateur Championship Tournament. Summer Brings Art to the Street ~ “Flags of Davie”

“Flying Canvasses” The Davie County Arts Council, in collaboration with the Town of Mocksville, is exhibiting the fourth annual “Flags of Davie” along North Main Street.  This is a community arts project of flags painted with summertime themes.
