If you need a car title, license plate, or registration renewal, you’ll no longer need to leave Davie County to get it. The Mocksville License Plate Agency is open and ready to do business. The agency reopened in April at 1047 Yadkinville Rd., in the Eastgate Shopping Center(formerly Squire Boone Plaza) where Central Carolina Bank used to be. The agency is located directly behind the El Taco Shop and across from Domingo’s. Catfish Fry at the Bullhole – Saturday, October 15th!

RiverPark at Cooleemee Falls—also known as “The Bullhole”—will hold its 15th Annual Catfish Fry on Saturday, October 15th from 11 a.m. until 2 pm. Come to the big Margaret Woodson Picnic Shelter on the Rowan side of the park. A free Veterans’ Coffee will be held in Mocksville this Thursday, June 2nd from 8:30‐10:30 am at Sagebrush Steakhouse, 1562 Yadkinville Road.  This is a monthly event scheduled for the first Thursday of each month.  Veterans of all ages have the opportunity to meet, share stories, and enjoy informal presentations by community organizations in Davie County.
