Kids Art Walk this Saturday – Wild Mountain Designs and Art

With art stations, a bounce house, and more, kids age 5 and above won’t want to miss Kid’s Art Walk – “A Passport to Art”  this Saturday, August 20th, from 10 am – 2 pm at Wild Mountain Designs & Art in Farmington. Come out and travel to 8 different art stations, everything from painting abstracts with squirt guns, stained glass, woodworking, craft making, string/beads and clay. Supporting NC Orphans ~ 139th Masonic Picnic – 6 PM This Saturday in Mocksville!

Nothing says summer like a picnic — crispy fried chicken, tangy garden tomatoes, and thick slices of sweet watermelon. You won’t want to miss the annual Masonic Picnic this  Saturday, August 13th at 6 pm at the Masonic Picnic grounds in Mocksville.   The picnic, traditionally held on the second Thursday in August, was changed to Saturday evening this year in hopes that more people will be able to attend.
