Davie County Students Excel in 2010-11 School Year

Positive Trends Continue On August 4th, the State Board of Education approved the AYP and ABC’s Results for the 2010-11 school year and Davie County Schools continue to see a positive trend in academic achievement. AYP is the evaluation of schools’ “Adequate Yearly Progress” as outlined by the Federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. NCLB has the goal of every student being proficient in reading and math by the end of 2013-14 school year.
