“Cruise-In” Monday Night in Mocksville!

Visit the beautiful and historic square in downtown Mocksville on Monday evening, June 5th, for  “Cruise-In” presented by the Piedmont C.A.R.S. Association.  Festivities begin at 5:30 and continue until dark. All types of cars ranging from old classics to the cars of tomorrow will be on display.  The cruise-in draws participants from the surrounding areas stretching from the Virginia border to the Sandhills ~ West from Wilkes County and East to Alamance and Wake Counties.  If the weather is kind, the cruise-in will draw as many as 300 cars. KidsFest: Fun for the Whole Family will be held Saturday, May 20th from 10 a.m.until 2 p.m. at the Brock Gym and Masonic Picnic Grounds located at 644 North Main Street in Mocksville. Color Downtown 2017 is an event the whole family will enjoy … dance and twirl in your tutu, hop, skip, run, or walk your way through downtown Mocksville and Rich Park on Saturday, May 20, and be transformed into a colorful work of art with each color station you pass. Opening Doors in Davie County — Reeb Millwork Expanding, Adding Jobs

The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority has awarded the Town of Mocksville a $100,000 building reuse grant that will facilitate a 10-job expansion as well as renovations at REEB Millwork. The grant is part of a total capital investment of $320,451.
