Davie County Vineyard Anniversary Celebration On Saturday, August 4 from 2-4 PM, Barry, Kathy and Marge Nichols invite you to join them as they celebrate the third anniversary of the opening of their Misty Creek Vineyards Tasting Room.  They will be serving free hotdogs, hamburgers, chips etc. at this always family friendly Misty Creek Farm and Vineyards event. Davie County Habitat for Humanity Softball Tournament This Weekend

Habitat for Humanity of Davie County is having their first softball tournament on Friday July 27 and Saturday July 28 at the Center Ball field located at 1857 U.S. Highway 64 West. RiverPark Festival This Saturday!

2012 RiverPark Festival ~ Family Fun Tube Race, Duck Race & More Don’t miss the RiverPark Festival this Saturday!   New for the festival this year is the South Yadkin River Tube Race.  The tube race will begin at 10:00 am at the Cooleemee Junction Wildlife Access area and end near the Dam at RiverPark. It is about a mile and a half course. Without any extra effort, the float in a tube takes about two and a half hours. Post-Game update:  It was a great season for Mocksville-Davie American Legion baseball as they won the regular season going away, beat Concord three straight in the first round of the playoffs. The final score tonight was Rowan County 3, Mocksville Davie 2. Davie County will host fireworks, farmer’s markets, musical entertainment, parades, classic cars, antique tractors and more as we head into the traditional 4th of July summer holiday season. Classic Cars “Cruise-In” Monday Night in Mocksville

Visit the beautiful square in historic downtown Mocksville this evening for a classic car “Cruise-In” presented by the Piedmont Classic C.A.R.S. Club. The cruise-in draws participants from the surrounding areas stretching from the Virginia border to the Sandhills. If the weather is good, the cruise-in will draw as many as 250 cars.
