Davie Family YMCA ~ “Pay the Day” Membership Offer

The YMCA of Davie County has launched the annual “Pay the Day” membership offer to help people get the new year started off right! The Pay the Day program reduces the initial fee to join the Y to the dollar amount of the calendar day and continues through the end of January.  Join on the 15th of January and pay a $15 joining fee, join on the 20th of January and pay a $20 joining fee, etc. through January 31st. Sugar Valley Airport, located near the very center of Davie County will be hosting a presentation by HondaJet on Saturday, January 14th.  The event is free and open to the public. You may be eligible for funding from the S.U.R.F. Board Youth Grantmakers. S.U.R.F. Advance Christmas Parade This Saturday, 10 AM

The 2011 Advance, NC Christmas Parade will be held this Saturday, December 10th, beginning at 10:00 AM.  No pre-registration is required, just be at Shady Grove Elementary School before 9:00 AM. Enjoy the Parade and then Warm up with Chicken Stew!
