Christmas on Main Street The Theme of the 20111 Mocksville Christmas Parade is “Christmas on Main Street, ” celebrating the 20 year anniversary of Mocksville being a “Main Street Community,”  a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  The 2011 Mocksville Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December3rd at 2 PM. Help us “Flag” the Tree of Honor

A “Tribute Tree” to honor and/or remember those who serve or have served to protect our freedom will be located beside the Mocksville Police Department during the 2011 holiday season. The Goal is to fill the Entire Tree with Flags! For each $1 contribution, a United States flag will be placed on the tree to represent a designated service person.  The contributions will be presented to the Davie County Veteran’s Administration for local veteran services. Window Shopping Under the Lights in Historic Downtown Mocksville

“Open House” in Historic Downtown Mocksville, Sunday, November 20th, 1-5 PM

Historic Downtown Mocksville will host the annual Christmas Open House this Sunday form 1-5 PM.  This is your opportunity to experience the excitement of the upcoming holiday season right here in Davie County.  Most of the shops in town will be open with holiday displays and holiday gift ideas. Free Halloween Carnival Tonight 5:30 – 8:30 PM @ Brock Gym, North Main Street, Mocksville

Free Family Event ~ Halloween at the Brock Gym Davie County will host our annual Halloween Carnival tonight (October 31st, 2011) from 5:30-8:3- PM at the Brock Gym at 644 North Main Street in Mocksville.  Come dressed for Halloween fun.  There will be games and treats for kids and adults of all ages.

Free Outdoor Concert Saturday
