Fireworks, wagon rides through Rich Park, kiddie train rides, kiddie pedal tractor races, antique tractors, a ladies frying pan toss, and even a lawn mower parade are part of the weekend activities as our nation celebrates its 240th birthday. Free Concert! Two Great Bands – Saturday, June 25th

Not one, but two exciting bands will perform on Saturday, June 25th from 6-10 pm at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Theater in Downtown Mocksville. Free Concert! Gershwin on the Square – Town of Bermuda Run – Saturday, June 25th

The Town of Bermuda Run will be alive with the timeless tunes of George Gershwin Saturday night, June 25th, from 7 pm-10 pm at the gazebo near Town Hall. Co-sponsored by the Town of Bermuda Run and the Davie County Arts Council, this free event is the second and final concert in the Sounds on the Square concert series. “Cruise-In” Tonight in Mocksville!

Visit the beautiful and historic square in downtown Mocksville on Monday evening, June 6th,  for  “Cruise-In” presented by the Piedmont C.A.R.S. Association.  Festivities begin at 5:30 and continue until dark. All types of cars ranging from old classics to the cars of tomorrow will be on display.  The cruise-in draws participants from the surrounding areas stretching from the Virginia border to the Sandhills ~ West from Wilkes County and East to Alamance and Wake Counties.  If the weather is kind, the cruise-in will draw as many as 250 cars. A free Veterans’ Coffee will be held in Mocksville this Thursday, June 2nd from 8:30‐10:30 am at Sagebrush Steakhouse, 1562 Yadkinville Road.  This is a monthly event scheduled for the first Thursday of each month.  Veterans of all ages have the opportunity to meet, share stories, and enjoy informal presentations by community organizations in Davie County. The Town of Bermuda Run will be alive with the sounds of beach music as Special Occasion Band (SOB) kicks off the Sounds on the Square concert series this Saturday night, May 28th, from 7 pm-10 pm at the gazebo near Town Hall. Nourish Your Mind – Enjoy the Little Free Library at Rich Park in Mocksville

A trip to Rich Park nourishes the body and soul, and now the mind thanks to the Mocksville Woman’s Club.
