KidsFest: Fun for the Whole Family will be held Saturday, May 14th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Brock Gym and Masonic Picnic Grounds located at 644 North Main Street in Mocksville. GESIPA® Fasteners USA, Inc., a German-based company which manufactures rivets and state-of-the-art riveting systems, is growing and expanding its Davie County operations, creating sixteen new manufacturing jobs in Mocksville. Johnson Trucking, Inc., a leader in the furniture transportation and delivery industry, has opened a furniture distribution center in Mocksville. Counting our Lucky Stars in Davie County – SouthPoint Business Park Expanding!

Terry Bralley counts Davie County’s lucky stars every day; one of the brightest is its partnership with the Hollingsworth Companies. The Davie County Economic Development Commission and the Hollingsworth Companies have announced an agreement to expand the SouthPoint Business by an additional 80 acres. Phase II of the SouthPoint Business Park will add three lots to the park with 425,000 square feet to 750,000 square feet of additional industrial space.
