KidsFest: Fun for the Whole Family will be held Saturday, April 21st from 10 a.m.until 2 p.m. at the Brock Gym and Masonic Picnic Grounds located at 644 North Main Street in Mocksville. Hop on down and enjoy the fun! Davie County’s Easter Egg Eggstravaganza will be held March 24th, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Masonic Picnic Grounds in Mocksville. RiverPark at Cooleemee Falls evokes memories of warm summer days fishing and swimming in the Bullhole and lazy walks along the beautifully wooded trails for residents across Davie County. In order to maintain the park’s beauty and to prepare it for another season of enjoyment, the RiverPark Board is sponsoring a spring clean-up this Saturday, March 17th, from 8 a.m. – noon. Enjoy the hilariously funny Dixie Swim Club at the Brock Performing Arts Center beginning Friday, March 9th at 7 p.m. Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships.
