Pro Scramble Golf Tournament ~ Monday, September 13th, 2010!

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce annual golf tournament is less than 2 weeks away. While the tournament has been fully subscribed with 32 teams competing in a pro scramble format, there are still hole sponsorship and door prize sponsorships available!

Titanium Sponsors for the 2010 event are Avgol Non-Woven Industries, Funder America, Ingersoll Rand, Webb Heating and Air and the Williams Companies, Inc. Graphite Sponsors for the 2010 event are CenturyLink, Duke Power and Ventlab.

This promises to be a fun filled, sun-drenched day of golf! Continuing its tradition of providing a quality golf tournament and promoting Davie County as an outstanding golf community, the Davie County Chamber of Commerce members and friends will enjoy a round of golf with Professional golfers from throughout the Carolinas.

The Pros will be our “celebrity guests” for the day and will be designated as the team captains in the “Pro’s Choice” format. Amateur golfers will enjoy an afternoon of fun competition … with a little help from the professionals.

New for 2010 is the Hole-in-One contest with a $2,500 cash prize! The 2010 tournament will be held at Oak Valley Golf Club – designed by Arnold Palmer. Discover the long, rolling fairways and luscious bent grass greens that wander through an abundant display of nature. Both remarkably playable and suitably challenging, Oak Valley is a course that is truly fun to play.
