Free Event ~ Dancing Without Daylight! Friday at 8:45 PM
The weekend in Davie County begins Friday night at 8:45 on the square in historic downtown Mocksville when Dance Camp students from the the Davie School of Dance will be presenting 2 short performances of “Dancing Without Daylight.” The first performance will begin at 8:45 and the second performance will begin at 9:00 PM.

Full Moon Festival at Raylen Vineyards! Saturday 5-9 Pm
Enjoy food from The Full Moon Oyster Bar, Music by “Vagabond Saint’s Society” performing a tribute to Sir Elton John and meet River, a captive breed wolfdog from Full Moon Farm. And of course, fine wine from Raylen Vineyards. Admission is $10 per person and includes parking, a glass of wine and a souvenir wine glass.
Rock Night at Junker’s Mill! Saturday 7-11 PM
The weekend continues with “Rock Night” at Junker’s Mill from 7:00 to 11:00 PM on Saturday night. This is part of the 2010 Summer Concert Series at Junker’s Mill presented by Historic Downtown Mocksville. Music will be provided by the “Second Wind Band” and “Thirteen 20” featuring music from The Beatles to Bon Jovi and ACDC.
Bring your lawn chairs and a friend. Food and drinks will be sold at the event, so no coolers allowed. Tickets sold at the concert are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors. Children 12 and under admitted free.
