Free Concert on the Square in Mocksville on Saturday – Tess and the Black & Blues!

Enjoy a little Blues, Beach, Country, Funk, and Rock as one of Mocksville’s hometown bands, Tess & the Black & Blues, takes center stage Saturday night, July 27th from 7-10 p.m. in the quad near Restaurant 101 in downtown Mocksville.

Tess & the Black & Blues
Founded in 2014, this multi-talented group features Davie County locals Tess Welch – vocals; Grady McClamrock – rhythm guitar; Gary Chilton – lead guitar; Ken Simonds – bass; Jerry Smith – keyboards; and Darren Boles – drums.

Clap your hands, tap your feet, and sing along as they play your favorites from a wide range of artists like Sheryl Crow, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Jimmy Buffet, and the Eagles.

This performance is part of the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville. These concerts are perfect for a delightful date night or a family-friendly fun night!

Future performances are August 10th — Jukebox Rehab (Country), August 24th — 60 Watt Combo (Classic Rock, Rhythm ‘n Blues), September 14th — Exit 180 Band (Rock, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Blues), and September 28th — Poundcake (Rock).
