Kids Art Crawl – Friday, July 12th from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The Town of Mocksville and Wild Mountain Designs and Art are sponsoring a kids art crawl on Friday, July 12th 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Main Street Park in downtown Mocksville.
For just $5 per child, they will have art stations featuring clay, string, painting with acrylic and watercolor, artificial stained glass, and squirt gun abstract pennants. Bring a sack lunch, cold refreshments will be provided.
Children must be at least 5 years old and a parent or guardian must remain with the children at all times.
Rain date Friday, July 26th if necessary.
The Happy Ones ~ FREE Concerts on the Square this Saturday, July 13th from 7-10 p.m.
Enjoy a little Rock & Country as one of Mocksville’s hometown bands, The Happy Ones, takes center stage Saturday night, July 13th from 7-10 p.m. in the quad near Restaurant 101 in downtown Mocksville.

Open up the musical blender, stuff it full of Train, Maroon 5, Tom Petty, Little Big Town, The Eagles, and Push Play, and you’ve got, The Happy Ones! This original modern pop/rock acoustic trio made up of Brad Ratledge-guitar & lead vocals, Amanda Barnette-vocals & percussion, and Jason Hamilton-guitar, percussion & vocals has high energy but warm and inviting stage presence.
The band features acoustic guitars, ukulele, harmonica, and energetic percussion, along with delightful three-part vocal harmonies. Be ready to sing, dance and make good memories with the Happy Ones!!

Their performance is part of the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville. These concerts are perfect for a delightful date night or a family-friendly fun night!
Future performances are July 27th — Tess & the Black & Blues (Blues, Beach, Country, Funk, Rock); August 10th — Jukebox Rehab (Country), August 24th — 60 Watt Combo (Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues), September 14th — Exit 180 Band (Rock, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Blues), and September 24th — Poundcake (Rock).
Bring your lawn chair and enjoy these free concerts. Don’t forget to check out the delicious restaurants and unique shops.
