Davie County Holiday Celebrations on Saturday, December 1st

Store-front windows have been decorated for the holidays, the majestic oaks on the square have been strung with lights and festive holiday lighting brightens the night throughout historic downtown Mocksville.  Celebrations and events continue to bring people together, contributing to the strength and vitality of our communities and the economy across Davie County.

Already this season, Mocksville has hosted a downtown open house, an early Christmas Parade, exciting Bed Races, Pictures with Santa, the 2012 ornament unveiling, Pedi-cab rides though town, the 43rd annual craft village at the Brock Center, Hometown Quilts of Davie, and several free concerts under the 4 majestic oak trees on the square.

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce, the Historic Downtown Mocksville merchants association, the town of Mocksville, the Davie Craft Guild, local shops and other organizations continue to make historic downtown Mocksville a great place to spend time with friends and neighbors.  Holiday celebrations will continue throughout the season.
