“JoeFest” Saturday, August 25th in Mocksville – Memorial Poker-Run, Chili Cook-off, 4 Live Bands and Natty Greene’s Beer Garden!
Memorial Motorcycle Poker Run
The Joe Phillips Memorial Motorcycle Poker Run leaves the Mocksville Square at 11am and will be riding to Freeborns on the Blue Ridge Parkway for lunch. $20 single rider / $25 for two-up. All motorcycles and riders are welcome. For more info on the ride contact Ed Hinkle 336-751-5647 or Eddie Spillman 336-782-0156 (signup starts at 10 am). In 2011 38 riders joined the ride. This year the first 100 riders will get a poker run t-shirt.
5 PM to 10 PM – 4 Live Bands, Chili Cook-off and Beer Garden!
The entertainment this year is going to be amazing with four live bands, a chili cook-off, and Natty Greene’s beer garden. The performing bands include – Exit 180 Band, Steel Creek, Brad Ratledge and Caleb’s Bridge.

There is a $5 admission fee for “JoeFest.”
Proceeds from the JoeFest Live event and the Mocksville Poker Run will be contributed to the Joe Phillips Scholarship Fund. Each year the Joe Phillips Scholarship Fund helps to pay the college tuition for a deserving Davie High School student. The scholarship fund is managed by the Davie Commmunity Foundation, Inc.
