Pumpkin Carving Time for Davie County Artist Tim Trudgeon Shapes up in October
Tim Trudgeon of Turkeyfoot Creations in Davie County is a celebrated pumpkin carver this time of year. His pumpkin carving demonstrations at the North Carolina State Fair October 16th to 21st drew large and enthusiastic crowds.

Work Featured at Station on Main Street Fine Arts Gallery
During most of the year Tim Trudgeon earns his living as a wood carver with Turkeyfoot Creations. Tim’s wood-carving art work is available locally at the Station on Main Street fine arts gallery in historic downtown Mocksville.
The Station on Main Street is located in what was originally built as a general merchandise store in 1919 and grew to become the Kurfees & Ward Pure Oil gas station. The service station’s bay area, with very little modification so as to retain the character of the building, was converted to an art gallery that has been welcoming visitors since April, 2006. Tim’s wood carving art was also featured at the 2010 Arts About Town festival in historic downtown Mocksville.
