The Town of Mocksville cordially invites you to a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Main Street Park on Tuesday, January 9th at 11:30 a.m.
The park is located between the police department and the Horn Building on North Main Street and features a picnic area, a sitting area, a water fountain feature, and a clock tower donated by the Rotary Club.
Public restrooms paid for in part by a state grant, opened last fall.
“Although we will continue to be adding landscaping features as the weather and season permits, I am so excited to see the completion of the park in the near future,” said Mocksville Town Manager Marcus Abernethy.
“The park is a space for all to enjoy in the heart of downtown. The strategic vision that the Mayor and the Town Board of Commissioners have provided in this park is going to be a vital asset, and the park will be a gem to the community for generations.”
