“I Don’t like Country Music but I LOVE Patsy Cline!”

on April 1, 2011

That’s a line you may hear as you enter the Brock Performing Arts Center in historic downtown Mocksville this Saturday evening, April 2, at 7:30 PM  to catch the Springer Theatricals production of “A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline!”

In this happy, loving tribute to one of the music industry’s most enduring superstars, this biographical musical traces the legendary singer’s rise to stardom from her hometown in Winchester, VA to the Grand Old Opry, Las Vegas and Carnegie Hall.  With songs like “Sweet Dreams,” “Crazy,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and “I Fall to Pieces,” this show cuts across Country, Pop, Bues, Gospel and even jazz demographics.

A CLOSER WALK WITH PATSY CLINE features one of America’s TOP Patsy Cline interpreters, officially sanctioned by the Patsy Cline Estate and Charlie Dick (Patsy’s husband).

Tickets are still available.  Call the box office at 336 751-3000.  Additional details available at Davie Arts Council.
