2 Free Events This Week – Thursday Games, Friday Night Movie at Mocksville Main Street Park!

The free family fun never ends at the Main Street Park in downtown Mocksville! This week enjoy games on Thursday afternoon and a movie on Friday night.
Free Games in the Park -Thursday, August 16th
Let the games begin! Enjoy board games, hopscotch, cornhole, giant Jenga, relay contests, and more at Main Street Park from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Bring a friend or make a friend while playing a game of Clue, brainteasers, Pokemon, and MORE.
Bring a sack lunch or purchase one from a local restaurant. Cold refreshments will be provided.

Free Movie in the Park – Friday, August 17th
Bring your family and friends back to Main Street Park on Friday night for a free outdoor showing of Black Panther beginning at 8:45 p.m.
After the death of his father, T’Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king — and as Black Panther — gets tested when he’s drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people. 2 hrs. 14 minutes …PG.
Black Panther is the third of four movies the Davie County Library and the Town of Mocksville will be hosting at the park. The final free outdoor movie of the season will be Tangled (PG) on Friday, September 21st at 8:45 p.m.
Please bring your own chair or a blanket for seating. Bring your own snacks or purchase from SCOOP’S Ice Cream, The Factory Coffee House, or our other local restaurants.
A PARENT OR GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED TO STAY WITH CHILD/CHILDREN.
