The Davie County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Gala has been a signature Davie County event since 1970. The tradition continues on Thursday, October 6th and tickets are still available!
WinMock at Kinderton
For 2011, this gala event will be held at Davie County’s newest event destination ~ WInMock at Kinderton!
Magnificent. Elegant. Unique. Historically significant. All are terms that describe WinMock at Kinderton and yet no one adjective fully describes this amazing 1920’s barn turned special events and conference facility, the site of magnificent weddings, elegant social functions, and distinctive corporate events.
Schedule Highlights
The 2011 Chamber Awards Gala will begin at 6:00 PM with a welcome reception on the Terrace with light hors d’oeuvres, drinks & socializing. At 7:00 PM, the event will move into the upstairs loft and ballroom for heavy hors d’oeuvres, a carving station, pasta bar, music, dancing and more until 10:00 PM.
Awards Ceremony
While the food and entertainment draw in the crowds each year for a memorable evening, the highlight of the event is the annual awards presentation. The Davie County Chamber of Commerce will present awards for the 2011 Large Business of the Year, 2011 Small Business of the Year and the E.C. Tatum Humanitarian Award.
