Sunday marks 10 years since the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Davie County Emergency Services is marking the date with a memorial service at the War memorial on the Mocksville town square.
The service will begin on the square at 2:00 PM. There will be all types of emergency vehicles on display. The ceremony agenda includes opening remarks, ROTC presenting colors, special speakers, and of course the National Anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance.
