Ashley Furniture Grand Opening Celebration – 657 Employees Today – 800 Employees by Year End!

Ashley Furniture celebrated the grand opening of its 2,800,000 square foot Mid-Atlantic Manufacturing and Distribution Center in Advance, North Carolina on Friday, October 17.  Local leaders and dignitaries from across the state of North Carolina were on hand to thank Ashley Furniture for investing in Davie County, North Carolina and to help celebrate the grand opening of what is slated to become the largest furniture manufacturing facility in the world.

Governor Pat McCrory celebrated his birthday with a birthday cake presented to him during the event. During his remarks, the Governor waved toward the Ashley Furniture employees attending the event and said that celebrating the hundreds of new jobs created by Ashley Furniture in Advance, North Carolina made this his best birthday yet!

With over 2,8 million square feet (65 acres under roof), the Ashley Furniture Mid-Atlantic Manufacturing and Distribution Center in Advance, North Carolina is poised to become the largest furniture manufacturing facility in the world.
