Join them at The Farm at Oak Hill on November 19th from 6-9 p.m. The evening will consist of catered food, a tacky Christmas sweater contest, and a silent/live auction. ​All funds raised will support the work they do to address the issue of family homelessness. Update from Davie County Government Davie County EMS Academy Launches in October Mocksville, NC— In an effort to educate the community and encourage individuals who may be interested in the EMS career field, Davie County Emergency Medical Services is launching the Davie County EMS Academy. Davie County Library Introduces Remote Library Lockers in Bermuda Run

Residents of Bermuda Run/East Davie can now pick up their library materials closer to home. The Davie County Public Library has installed a series of remote lockers for books and other library items in the Davidson-Davie Community College Annex next to Bermuda Run Town Hall, 120 Kinderton Boulevard, Suite 110.  These lockers will allow residents to go to the Davie County Library website, sign in with their library card to reserve a book online, and have it delivered to Bermuda Run. Davie County Fire Marshal’s Office Orders Burn Ban

Davie County Fire Marshal’s Office By order of the Fire Marshal, effective 12/01/2021, there is a zero tolerance burn ban placed on Davie County. “It is fall wildfire season in North Carolina, and we are seeing wildfire activity increase due to dry conditions. With these ongoing conditions, a statewide burn ban is necessary to reduce the risk of fires starting and spreading quickly.
