Growing Retail Sales, iShop Davie & Small Business Saturday!

Almost $1.2 billion in retail sales are leaking from Davie County every year according to a report by The Retail Coach, a retail recruitment and consulting firm hired by the Davie County Economic Commission to assist with attracting more retailers and retaining existing businesses. The report was presented to retail business owners, managers, and county leaders during “Grow Your Business Workshops” on October 12th. Mocksville Has the Shortest Lines & Friendliest Customer Service of any License Plate Agency

If you need a car title, license plate, or registration renewal, you’ll no longer need to leave Davie County to get it. The Mocksville License Plate Agency is open and ready to do business. The agency reopened in April at 1047 Yadkinville Rd., in the Eastgate Shopping Center(formerly Squire Boone Plaza) where Central Carolina Bank used to be. Catfish Fry at the Bullhole – Saturday, October 15th!

RiverPark at Cooleemee Falls—also known as “The Bullhole”—will hold its 15th Annual Catfish Fry on Saturday, October 15th from 11 a.m. until 2 pm.
