Since 1975 the Davie Arts Council has been “Connecting People to the Arts” throughout Davie County and the surrounding areas. The Davie Arts Council is known for its community outreach programs and arts education. The council schedules art exhibits and performance events at the Brock Performing Arts Center throughout the year. Chamber’s Pro Scramble Golf Tournament September 9th at Oak Valley

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce will host its 16th annual Pro Scramble Golf Tournament Monday, September 9th at Oak Valley Golf Club.  Professional golfers serve as captains of the teams consisting of five amateur players.  A shotgun start at noon gets the day started with a post-tournament cookout and awards ceremony to celebrate the winning teams. DCCC Names Conference Center in Honor of Dr. Mary Rittling during Back to School Celebration

The DCCC community and special guests gathered on Wednesday to celebrate the start of a new school year and to name the college’s Conference Center for DCCC’s third president, Dr. Mary E. Rittling.
