New Year’s Eve Benefit Event!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Ladies and Gentlemen, you are invited to “The King’s Ball” on New Year’s Eve.  This promises to be a memorable, fun filled event including a live band (Phase Band), cash bar, heavy hors doevres and plenty of dancing. Organized by Katy Junker of Mocksville, all proceeds from the event will benefit the Advocacy Center of Davie County. The Davie County High School football team has beaten 4 straight playoff opponents, bringing the War Eagles to the North Carolina Division 4A State Championship game for the first time in school history.  The War Eagles will play Durham Hillside this Saturday in Winston Salem. 2010 Hometown Christmas Parade ~ Complete with Snow!

A beautiful snowfall complemented the 2010 Hometown Christmas Parade in historic downtown Mocksville, providing a beautiful backdrop for the parade and adding a perfect seasonal touch to the festivities.  Water and electronics don’t play well together so positioning the camera for this event was somewhat of a challenge.  Thanks to the Davie County Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Mocksville for all of the hard work organizing and coordinating this event, thanks to all of  the volunteers and organizations that contributed time and talent, and thanks to all of the parents and kids who participated! Ingersoll Rand Employees Receive 2010 Business of the Year Award!

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce 2010 Business of the Year award was presented to Ingersoll Rand employees today at the IR Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Mocksville, North Carolina.
