Davie County Chamber of Commerce Announcement About Small Business Protections Davie County Businesses, I am pleased to inform you the SBA has granted Governor Roy Cooper’s request for a disaster declaration for small businesses that are suffering economic losses due to the Coronavirus. Eligible applicants may now apply for economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs). State of Emergency Declaration Davie County is issuing a State of Emergency Declaration to allow access to federal and state resources in our preparedness efforts for COVID-19 prevention and (please see attached). Should further action need to be taken in the future, this Declaration will be amended. Davie County has created a COVID-19 website for residents which has the most up-to-date information at: www.daviecountync.gov. We have also created a COVID-19 hotline at 336-753-6750. Counties who have issued State of Emergency Declarations include Buncombe, Forsyth, Guilford, Henderson, Moore, Orange, Rockingham, Wake, and Wilkes.
