Lace up your running shoes, and have a chillin’ good time while supporting a great cause — take part in the 9th Annual Popsicle 5k Run on Saturday, February 8th! All abilities are welcome. It’s time to stand up and be counted! The 2020 Census is coming and the benefits to Davie County and its residents are enormous. During 2015, 132 programs used Census Bureau data to distribute more than $675 billion in funds. “It is imperative that Davie County has strong participation/representation in the upcoming census. Come One, Come All; Cooleemee Christmas Parade, This Saturday, November 30th!

The Town of Cooleemee will host its second annual Christmas parade at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th. The parade will begin at Cooleemee Elementary School at 136 Marginal Street and end at the Zachary House at 131 Church Street. A “Tribute Tree” to honor and/or remember those who serve or have served to protect our freedom will be located at Mocksville Town Hall and will be on display throughout the 2019 holiday season.
