Davie Beekeepers – 45 Years of Service

The Davie County Beekeepers Association has been helping members enjoy the hobby of beekeeping since 1972 and is part of the North Carolina State Beekeeping Association. The state association has been around for almost a century and is the largest state beekeeping association in the country.

Friendly Neighbors and Helping Hands

In addition to the information you glean from this course, you will have the opportunity to meet other beginning beekeepers as well as some “old-timers”.  You’ll make contacts with local beekeepers who can provide answers to future questions as well as continuing support.  You can find a mentor to help you with your new adventure, and club members can even help you “install” your first package of bees or capture a swarm.

Catch the Buzz! Reserve Your Seat Today

Learn why beekeeping has caught the attention of so many people across America in the last few years, and why the health of the honey bee is an integral part of the well being of our planet.  Catch the buzz and reserve your seat.  Pre-register online with the Davie County Beekeepers Association.
