Davie County Named All-America City 

Davie County, NC, has been named an All-America City by the National Civic League.  Davie County was one of 20 communities selected as finalists from across the country to compete for this prestigious award in Denver, Colorado.  The National Civic League’s All-America City Award has celebrated the best in American civic innovation since 1949. The Foundation has invested more than $2 Million in scholarships to more than 1,360 students! The Park at Lake Louise Celebrates Grand Opening With Ribbon Cutting

Nestled next to Colin Creek Golf Club is Davie County’s newest recreational gem – The Park at Lake Louise. Community officials and residents were invited to explore the park on March 20th as owners Dr. Joel and Beth Edwards celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and hotdog lunch. Davie Chamber Gives $2,000 to Support IGNITE DAVIE

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce recently donated $2,000 to the Davie Community Foundation to support IGNITE DAVIE, a college promise program which will provide Davie County students the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school graduation through college assistance. Davie County COVID-19 Response Fund to Support Non-Profits on the Front Lines Ten days ago, Davie High Hunger Fighters served students at the high school. Now the group is packing food boxes for almost 700 children and their families in Davie County Schools on a weekly basis.
