Store-front windows have been decorated for the holidays, the majestic oaks on the square have been strung with lights and festive holiday lighting brightens the night throughout historic downtown Mocksville.  Celebrations and events continue to bring people together, contributing to the strength and vitality of our communities and the economy across Davie County. Hometown Christmas Parade The 2012 Davie County Hometown Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, November 17th at 3 PM in historic downtown Mocksville.  The parade theme for 2012 is a “Celebration of Trees.” – a theme that ties in well with traditional Christmas trees while recognizing the impact of the four majestic oaks on the historic Mocksville town square.
