Dempsey Essick Will Be Featured at 41st Annual Craft Village in Mocksville

Davie County Arts Council Invites you to Casino Night!

Hosted by the Davie County Arts Council, Casino Night promises to be an evening of innocent fun at professionally run tables of Roulette, Black Jack, Craps and Texas Hold’em.  The event will be held at the Bermuda Run Country Club from 7:30 to 11:30 PM on Saturday, February 27th. Proceeds benefit the arts programs in Davie County. Beekeeping Short Course starts this Wednesday!

Our State: Down Home in North Carolina, a prestigious and celebrated monthly magazine names Davie County as one of 12 locations to visit across the state of North Carolina. New Year’s Eve Gala Event to Benefit the Advocacy Center of Davie County

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Ladies and Gentlemen, you are invited to “The King’s Ball” on New Year’s Eve.  This promises to be a memorable, fun filled gala event including a live band (Phase Band), cash bar, heavy hors doevres and plenty of dancing.   Organized by Katy Junker of Mocksville, all proceeds from the event will benefit the Advocacy Center of Davie County. Surprise Guest Appears in Advance Christmas Parade!

There was a surprise appearance by a well-known political figure at the Advance Christmas Parade.  The surprise guest steps out of a massive white stretch-limousine about one minute into the first video. You can catch the entire parade on the Davie County YouTube Channel. See the Davie County Marching Band, The South Davie Band, dancers, horse drawn carriages, tractors, classic cars, rescue vehicles, fire engines, tons of floats… and of course, Santa Claus.
