Rural Infrastructure Grant Paves Way for Expansion of Southpoint Business Park

The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority has awarded the Town of Mocksville a  $411,425 grant to extend Quality Drive in the SouthPoint Business Park. The improvements will consist of 900 feet of 24-foot-wide roadway, 900 feet of water lines and related equipment, and storm drainage, allowing The Hollingsworth Companies to begin construction on one spec building and three pre-graded building pads.   Construction of a 108,000 SF spec building, as well as 130,000 SF, 150,000 SF, and 250,000 SF industrial site pads is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2018.  This new development has […]

Beroth Tire & Automotive Breaks Ground in Mocksville

Beroth Tire & Automotive, a division of Mock-Beroth Tire Group, has broken ground in Mocksville for its fourteenth location. The 5,200 sq. foot store located on Interstate Drive, next to Sherwin-Williams, is expected to open in October or early November. The company will begin by hiring five employees and will expand to around fifteen.
