On Wednesday, August 26, 2015 members of the Davie Hospital Foundation presented a check for over $146,000 to Dr. Mary Rittling and DCCC, the Community College of Davidson and Davie Counties.  The Davie County Hospital Foundation gift will support the DCCC Surgical Technology and Central Sterile Processing training programs being conducted at the former hospital in Mocksville. Avgol America today broke ground in Mocksville on a $40 million expansion that will make the Mocksville, NC Avgol America plant the single largest producer of non-woven fabrics in North America.  This $40 million investment by Avgol will create 50 new jobs here and add $36 million to the County’s tax base.
