Duke Energy asks Carolinas customers to conserve electricity as temperatures plummet

As temperatures across the nation continue to plummet to historic lows, Duke Energy officials are asking the company’s customers to conserve power during the next 24 hours, as extreme temperatures continue. Christmas Tour Will Brighten Your Spirits This Saturday

Davie County EDC Launches Job Creation Initiative ~ “Together we are Davie”

The Davie County Economic Development Commission (DCEDC) launched the public phase of its first ever capital campaign with a kick-off breakfast at WinMock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run. Campaign chairman Dr. John McConnell, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center CEO, hosted the event and delivered the keynote address. McConnell spoke of the absolute necessity of communities working together to advance economic development and taking ownership in determining their prosperity.
