Classic Cars “Cruise-In” to Mocksville on Monday, April 7

Visit the beautiful and historic square in downtown Mocksville on Monday evening, April 7th for a classic car “Cruise-In” presented by the Piedmont Classic C.A.R.S. Club. Festivities begin at 5:30 and continue until dark. The cruise-in draws participants from the surrounding areas stretching from the Virginia border to the Sandhills ~ West from Wilkes County and East to Alamance and Wake Counties.   If the weather is kind, the cruise-in will draw as many as 250 cars. New Citizen Reporting System Now Available Davie County is pleased to announce a new system to receive citizen service requests.  311GIS.com is an online and mobile system that allows a registered user to report service needs in Davie County, Bermuda Run and Mocksville. Citizens can report missing street signs, animal control concerns, street light outages, non-emergency utility issues, and much more.  There is no cost to register to use the system, but a contact email address is required so that someone making a request can be informed as work is completed on the request. We need your help; our Davie County Library is conducting an online survey, the “Impact Survey,” to collect information about public technology resources and services.  Even non-users are encouraged to take the survey; several questions relate to use of technology in general, and perceptions of the role of the public library in providing access to technology and digital resources. On Saturday, March 22, Cooleemee will host a community Bar-B-Que starting at noon on the Zachary House grounds at 131 Church Street in Cooleemee. Join the Fun ~ 26th Annual Shamrock Run This Saturday!
