Shamrock Bar-B-Que Event This Weekend in Cooleemee

Davie County Civil Air Patrol Unit Established at Sugar Valley Airport

A Civil Air Patrol unit has been established in Davie County at Sugar Valley Airport. A major focus of the unit will be the development of a Cadet Program for young people, ages 12 – 18. Parents are invited to an informational session on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The Davie County unit, called a “Flight,” is being established by the Winston-Salem Squadron which has one of the most successful Cadet Programs in the country. Visit the 1,000,000 Square Foot Cooleemee Cotton Mill This Saturday

The Cooleemee Mill will be open to visitors this Saturday, February 23, from 2-4 PM for a community open house.  This is a free event and the mill is located at 314 Main Street, Cooleemee, NC.
