Learn more about the plans for The Park at Lake Louise, during an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 6th at 6:30 pm at 64 Bistro at Colin Creek Golf Club.
The public park will be adjacent to and integrated with the Colin Creek Golf Club, formerly Lake Louise and Hickory Hill. The 12-hole golf course and restaurant are already open.
After getting feedback on the initial drawings, McAdams (the same company that is working with the county on the park at the old high school site) has refined their proposal to encompass a three-phase project. Phase 1 includes walking and biking trails with connections to the existing golf cart paths, a children’s play area, outdoor adult exercise equipment, and picnic areas. There are also plans for a dog park and plans to construct a dock for boating, canoes, and kayaks, as well as fishing from the embankments.
“Anyone interested in learning more is welcome to come and we will welcome your feedback and input,” said Dr. Joel and Beth Edwards, property owners and developers.”
