February 8, 2017Dozens of Davie County’s best got a chance to shine during the Best of Davie Awards! The awards were presented during the 47th Annual Davie County Chamber Awards Gala and Annual Meeting held at WinMock at Kinderton on Thursday, January 19th.

Voting for the 2016 Best of Davie was open to all members of the community. More than 2000 online ballots were submitted.
“The Davie Chamber hosts the Annual Awards Gala to celebrate the successes of the year and to honor businesses and individuals who do so much to make our community great,“ said Carolyn McManamy, President of the Davie County Chamber of Commerce. “Once again, this year’s event was sold out and we had a fantastic night celebrating our Best of Davie Winners as well as our Business of the Year and EC Tatum Award Winner.”
“Best of Davie Awards were designed to give our community a voice in who they believe are the best businesses in Davie County,” she added. “Based on the significant increase in voting this year, we have not only found a great way to shine the spotlight on our local businesses, but we have clearly engaged our community as well. Preliminary plans are already in the works for next year’s Best of Davie program and the winners will be announced at the 48th Awards Gala on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at WinMock at Kinderton.”
