The Piedmont Triad Sustainable Communities Project
Do you have ideas that could make Davie County a more sustainable place to work, live, and get around? Join the conversation during the Davie County civic forum at the Davie County Library from 4-6 PM on Monday, January 31st.
Community Activism and Involvement are Attributes of Sustainable Communities.
Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in an interactive small group activity and learn more about the overall project. The forum will give Davie County residents an opportunity to give input on the strengths and challenges of their own communities.
Cooperative Effort Funded by Regional Grant
The Piedmont Triad has been awarded $1.6 Million from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development to create a regional plan intended to build economic competitiveness by connecting housing with good jobs, quality schools and transportation.
