Mocksville and Davie County will be alive with the sounds of Mel Jones and Tin Can Alley playing soul, rhythm and blues, & Jazz under the mighty oaks lining the square in historic downtown Mocksville this Saturday, Augst 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

Mel Jones – Humorist, Lead Vocalist, Song Writer or Harmonica Player?
Jones has established himself as one of the region’s best harmonica players by winning numerous titles in regional festivals and earning a solid reputation for showmanship. He is also an accomplished songwriter, with recordings that feature much of his original work in Livin’ Bones, Blues from the Porch, When the Alligators Come to Town, and Bones to Pick.

Don’t miss this free performance by Mel Jones and Tin Can Alley on Saturday evening.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy great live music this Saturday night under the mighty oaks lining the square downtown.
