Some Davie County citizens remember when Davie County High School Homecoming Week was kicked-off with a parade through town. The annual homecoming parade was brought back last year and will be back again this Saturday, October 16th, in conjunction with the 2010 Davie County Schools Showcase event.
The Davie County Schools Showcase will feature students providing entertainment and demonstrations beginning at 9:00 AM on the square in downtown Mocksville and at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Theater.
Entertainment at Junker’s Mill Outdoor Theater is scheduled from 9:00 AM until approximately 1:15 PM. The Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:30 PM. The Davie County Schools Showcase will end with a flourish with the Middle School All-County Band Concert at the Brock Performing Arts Center at 2:30 PM.
