The YMCA of Davie County has launched the annual “Pay the Day” membership offer to help people get the new year started off right!
The Pay the Day program reduces the initial fee to join the Y to the dollar amount of the calendar day and continues through the end of January. Join on the 15th of January and pay a $15 joining fee, join on the 20th of January and pay a $20 joining fee, etc. through January 31st.
Benefits of membership inlude:
- Reduced rates for all programs
- FREE use of swimming pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub, racquetball courts, basketball court, elevated indoor walking track, weight rooms, fitness center and more
- FREE adult group exercise classes including Yoga, Spinning, Sculpting and Cardio
- FREE fitness orientation and evaluation, including a free wellness appointment which includes orientation and setup on weight equipment. FitLinxx, a technologically advanced computer network system that performs like a “Virtual Coach,” will also help you achieve your goals.
- FREE Water Aerobics classes
- FREE Child Watch services for Adult with Dependent and Household memberships
- Multiple volunteer opportunities
- Membership in our AWAY program. Membership is honored, three times per month, at most YMCAs across the country.
Membership at the Y provides access to a wide range of options to get active including a fully-equip Wellness Center, Group Exercise Classes, indoor swimming, and expert advice from certified, experienced trainers and special programs like Boot Camps. Membership at the Y also provides access to youth development and social responsibility programs.

The $1 joining fee special (through January 1 and the amount matches the date on the calendar through January 31) applies to all levels of membership ranging from teen to household with dependents.
