On Sunday, October 5, 2014 form 2-5 PM, Wake Forest Baptist Health Davie Medical Center is hosting a community day and a one year anniversary celebration. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Davie Medical Center, located at 313 NC Hwy 801 North, Bermuda Run.
Face Painting, Balloon Art, Cooking Demonstrations, Zumba Demo and more
The Davie Medical Center community day and anniversary celebration will feature free health screenings, cooking demonstrations, tours, entertainment, healthy activities and the introduction of the walking trails surrounding the buildings. Activities will include sample casts for children plus vehicles from Smith Grove Fire Department and Brenner Children’s Hospital.
Lowes Foods, a neighbor of Davie Medical Center, will be on hand to provide refreshments, including samples from its Sausage Works and Pick n’ Prep areas of its newly renovated store. Guests at the event also will have the opportunity to register for prizes and can vote on a name for the larger walking trail surrounding Davie Medical Center.
