The Farmington Fall Expo, October 24th at the Farmington Community Center is a benefit for the Farmington Playground Project.  The expo is a showcase of local businesses and vendors providing a variety of goods and services.  Even on this rainy day, turnout was great.   Guests enjoyed shopping, food, music, hayrides, crafts, and games for children provided by the Girl Scouts. The day also included musical performances by Farmington Bluegrass, Escaping Inertia (Christian Rock), and In Flight Gymnasium.

The Farmington Playground Project is raising funds for playground equipment planned for the fenced-in lawn area near outdoor the volleyball court.   The Center  is home to the Farmington Senior Center Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the Teen Gathering Place on Friday nights.

For more information on the historic Farmington Community Center you may contact them at (336) 998-0825 or visit their web site at http://www.farmingtoncc.org
