Do you have a great idea for a fun new event for Downtown Mocksville? The Mocksville Tourism Development Authority (MTDA) wants to hear from you!
MTDA welcomes proposals for special projects and events funding from area organizations, both profit and not for profit, that are designed to attract visitors to Downtown Mocksville.
“Mocksville Tourism would like to open the doors of communication and extend a helping hand to other organizations working to promote Downtown Mocksville, to increase foot traffic and to enhance economic growth,” said Tami Langdon, chairperson for Mocksville Tourism Development Authority. “We look forward to working together with other groups and supporting their events.”
Just complete the Special Project Funding Request Form and submit it to Mocksville Tourism via email addressed to tlangdon@mocksvillenc.gov.
Davie County Tourism will review funding proposals as needed. Applications will be reviewed and considered at the next regular Mocksville Tourism Board Meeting. The applicant may be invited to present, in person, a formal presentation of the project.
